Functionality
When you first get on the software, you are greeted with a host of template options. You have the option to preview every template so you can know what you’re getting before generating the presentation slides.
Once on the editing side, you will be put through a popup tutorial. There are options for basic design blocks, graphics, photos, data, media, apps and more.
The platform is loaded with cool features like 3D animations and graphics, as well as illustrative graphics. You can add audio and even embed content from online sources. The app features integrations from various categories of tools like videos, cloud, marketing, and productivity.
For AI, the software features a writing assistant. This is a generated AI that lets you type a request in the chat and grants you a few sentences.
Performance
The performance, without mentioning any potential data that you import for data visualization purposes, is fast. Everything loads in a timely manner and there is no lag that you wouldn’t expect.
User Interface
As for the entire app’s UI, you will find everything relatively easy to navigate. It’s like anything else you’d use. When creating your masterpieces, everything that needs an explanation either has a mini description or a visual. I find the visuals to be a creative way of describing functions and I honestly don’t know why I don’t see it more.
Innovation
For innovation directly related to presentation AI, I find it to be the required which is generative. I believe the value in Visme is with the entirety of the workflow pipeline that they offer.

Highlights:AI for AI, Plus AI, is going to win. It is designed with AI in mind, and it delivers. However, if you just need to generate some sentences for slides but the main points of the presentation are based on visuals or something you know well, Visme wins by a margin.
Plus AI will generate the entire presentation for you. I think that only works for people who are going to be presenting to others with no idea or knowledge of the topic being presented. Because as we know by now, generative AI is generic.
Visme, I believe, is meant for more serious individuals who need the full stack.
Ease Of Use
For the category of presentation software and AI, the app is going to act exactly how you would expect if you ever had to use presentation software. Every feature you would expect is there, along with additional features.
Likes And Dislikes
I like that the app offers AI at the free tier. In general, a lot of platforms will withhold that feature at the free tier and it gets a little annoying because most generative AI is low effort to create.
What I don’t like is that so many features, in general, are withheld from the free tire. I know it’s not a particularly expensive product however, I appreciate when companies don’t leave their consumers behind.
At The End Of The Day…
Visme is a solid product. The UI is going to be good to you, the content creation overall is going to be good to you. Is it the most lucrative AI on the planet? No, but I’m not sure how much that matters for this genre.
I do believe this product is excellent if your job revolves around making PowerPoint. This is for the IB analysts. I recommend this product to anyone at any level that needs visually appealing presentations.
