Plus AI Is Challenging What It Means To Be The Best Presentation AI Tool – Full Review (2023)

Functionality

Plus AI exists in Google Slides. When you first sign up for the tool, it will take you to the Google store, where you will be asked to download the addon. Once the addon is installed, the user will notice its presence when they create a new Google Slides.

When you click on the addon, the app will fill your screen. You are presented with presets, the number of slides you want, and a box for you to describe what you want out of the presentation. Once you generate the outline, you will be prompted to edit the generated outline, whether that be deleting or reorganizing slides.

Next you will be asked to choose a theme then the presentation will begin generating. This will take a few seconds. And just like that, you have an entire presentation.

The app will populate graphs and charts where it deems necessary and tell you where to click to edit them. On the right, you’ll see a menu with insert, rewrite, remix, and design at the top.

Insert works like any “Add new slide” you’d see anywhere else, except you can describe the slide’s content and choose a layout, and the software will generate another slide for you on the fly.

Rewrite is there to change the content on the slide. If the generation isn’t quite what you want or you have the idea but need to make it longer, the rewrite is going to be your best friend.

Remix works much like insert. However, it will completely change an entire slide if you tell it to. Design is exactly what you think it is and it even allows you to add your logo.

Performance

For a tool that’s designed on top of another tool, you’ll find that Plus AI performs excellently. I had no hiccups while using it. It is “slow” when generating content, but in terms of what it is being asked to do, I’d say the 10-15 seconds is worth it.

User Interface

The UI for this tool is only but so lucrative and I won’t be hoolding that against them. Because it is built on another tool, the interface availvable to us is as good as it will get.

When generating content, it walks you through what needs to be done and I don’t think anyone will have a hard time using this tool.

Innovation

I believe this company did all the generation necessary. Unless you believe they should be generating images. However, I don’t like AI Images, so they have done well in my book for presentation software built on another platform.

Versus The Field

These two products perform at high levels but there are some differences.

SlidesAi says topic-to-presentation is in beta right now, but Plus AI already has it fully functioning. SlidesAI appears to have more innovation at the moment, but Plus AI is delivering a fast product that fulfills all of your needs.

One thing that stands out with Plus is its live snapshot feature. This basically allows you to find a webpage and set up how often you want to take snapshots. Downstream, your team can track the progression of something on a daily basis while still maintaining the historical data.

Ease Of Use

Plus is one of the easiest tools I’ve used, yet it feels like it does so much. I didn’t have my expectations through the roof for presentation AI software, but I must say the product they have delivered is on point.

Likes And Dislikes

My only dislike of the software is the generic text, but that is inherited with generative AI. This is why I call generative AI kind of lazy because it is generic. I am waiting for someone to finally take the next step and build a model specific to their platform.

On a positive note, I think the snapshots are a great feature. For teams that work with more data and the presentation is going to be filled with charts, Plus AI has you covered.
